GRRowl at vox!
I posted a nice entry earlier, and vox screwed up. It does that to me alot, right when I save the post, it freezes everything up and BAM! I lose the whole thing I spent time on! Lets hope it doesnt happen this time, or I will be lacking a computer after I smash it into itsy bitsy pieces. :)
24 weeks pregnant -- and all is going well. I dont feel like going to babycenter.com and finding all the riffraff about this particular week and whats supposed to happen (I did that earlier.. it was to be a beautiful post..) but I'll probably come back and post it tomorrow.
Meanwhile, heres a picture from last sunday (a week ago).
Not too bad, huh? The ole' belly is really starting to poke its way out there. It's now becoming alot easier for people to ask me when I'm due and not worry about making the "oops your just fat" mistake. Thats always nice. Note the sarcasm. Working at a preschool, I get asked quite often. Are any of my fellow pregnanties (my new word.. you can use it. ha.) having the issue with complete idiots strangers coming up rubbing your belly? At first it was like.. "uhmm.. ok?" now its really getting annoying. And, its probably even more annoying when someone asks "does it bother you that I'm doing this?" oh. my. Jesus. Would a blad man want random people to walk up to him and rub his shining head!?!? C'monnnn. But, me.. being the nice person I am, I just smile and carry on. Maybe eventually these pregnancy hormones everyone keeps talking about will kick in and I'll finally be able to become angry and violent with these people. :)
One quite funny thing that happened to me -- A coworker insists on rubbing my belly everyday. She talks to Alaynea, and tells her "hi". Yesterday (friday) she came up, and began the usual.. rubbing in circular motions, talking, using my belly button for a microphone. And then, she goes "OH, I FELT HER KICK!" Uhm, no ya didnt, sweetums. I didnt feel a thing, and I'm PRETTY sure, I'll feel her before you do! She proceeded to ARGUE with me about this! "IT WAS HER, I FELT HER MOVE!" yelling at me. Not good. Not cool at all! I just kept my calm and walked away. I wanted to have a raging fit (see those hormones are almost ready to kick in for me).
Anyways.. I think I should try and get some sleep. Its, oooh.. about 2:18am. Im getting heartburn as we speak. *jumps for joy* Goodnight.. and if you dont hear from me for a few days, its because I threw my computer into the backyard after Vox froze it up. No worries.

Aww I miss being pregnant. Your belly looks great!
I hated people touching my belly. Not just strangers, anyone. Except for my boyfriend. I don't know why but it was just weird.
I used to always want to rub pregnant ladies' bellies... then one day my husband's buddy's mom (whom I barely knew) came up to me and touched my tummy, pouted and said "No baby yet??" and it was totally weird for me. Not only because we weren't TRYING to have a baby, but also because a stranger put her hand on my mid-section and I didn't like it. So I stopped doing that to pregnant ladies :)
Your coworker is an idiot.
I get people reaching out and rubbing my belly a lot, which is either odd or okay, depending on who it is. My favorite thing to do (especially with men) is, after they've greeted me with a pat or rub of my belly, to reach out and pat or rub their bellies.
It only happens once. :-)
